What do you mean by that? That you are using a generalized form of "code" to show the method?ītw, the library that one can use with FFmpeg for HD resampling of audio seems to be SoX: SoX - Sound eXchange | HomePage. I am not sure about the batch thing, "pseudo code". The only thing is the end result, how the quality ends up. I am not really experienced in ffmpeg, some ffmpeg-guru might chime in.Ĭombining 2 monos to 1 mono : to avoid clipping, it could be safe to lower the volume of the 2 monos by 6dB when merging I do not know about that, too. Thanks a lot!! This seems to have all the parameters I need to do the job. Hope anyone has tips of what softwares to use.Īudiofile Engineering Sample Manager / Myriad ![]() Just 2 separate stereo files, into one stereo file. This is not about joining mono or stereo or L or R. The files are not split into L/R nor M/S or anything like that. They will be in 2 separate folders, with the end result ending up in a new folder, audio material joined.Ĥ. The files should be joined as a big batch, with corresponding file names into a new folder, or something like that. They can not be compressed or converted into any other format. Nothing should be changed EQ wise, and they should be layered, not appended or laid after each other. the material has to be just joined, as is.
